The Hotel California, located in beautiful Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica, is the ideal destination for your family vacation, honeymoon, weddings etc. Set on a mountain, surrounded by jungle, with awesome views of the Pacific Ocean, the Hotel California is the perfect place to experience the peace of paradise and the thrill of local attractions. Hotel California can also book tours with several good, local companies for adventure tours.

Accommodations

The rooms at the Hotel California were designed to make your stay as relaxing as possible. They are super-comfortable, and you will find that a great deal of thought has been given to every last detail (as you will read below).

There are three types of rooms, Deluxe and Standard, and a Villa.

Tours

Hotel California can book tours with several good, local companies (we work only with well established ones) , to help you get out and see the country. All of these tours come with our personal recommendations, and we suggest at least one or two tours a week to get the most out of your stay in Costa Rica.

Weddings

Hotel California would love to assist you in making your wedding memorable for you and your partner as well as your family and friends. We can organize and plan a wonderful event with your assistance! Please fill out the following questionnaire and check off the items that interest you. We will utilize the information to provide you with a proposal outlining availability, cost, or if you prefer we can adjust beautiful things to the budget you have and any other clarifications that need to be addressed in order to make this event spectacular for everyone involved.

Boruka Bar

Our poolside Borruca Bar features hand painted murals by the Borruca, a local indigenous tribe who are famous for their handcrafts. In the bar we sell colorful masks made by the tribe as well as woven bags and other items.

Their culture is in a transition and we try to support their efforts to maintain their culture and way of life by selling their artworks and supporting their efforts in other ways.

The bar sells tropical fruit drinks, international liquors, beer and wine as well as soft drinks, snacks and other foods.

Location

The Hotel California is in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. It is also near Quepos (it is situated on a hill between the two). It is a 3 1/2 hour drive from San Jose, and the flight is less than half an hour.
