Belize Beaches

Belize offers an infinite number of beaches for tourist enjoyment.The coastline has a length of over 386 km with a never-ending variety. The beaches on the islands are pleasing its visitors with excellent tourism infrastructure and a very laid back atmosphere. The blue water that surrounds them is an attraction of its own and the world class diving attracts lovers of this sport from all over the world.

Ambergris Caye, San Pedro, Belize

The largest and most visited island in Belize is the famous "Isla Bonita", San Pedro Ambergris Caye. This sandy and picturesque island community was once a sleepy fishing village, but the town has grown dramatically over the years, and is now one of Belize´s leading tourist destinations.

Placencia Peninsula

Is the mainland´s best beach. Placencia is located 16 degrees 33 North and 88 degrees 21 North and is on the Southern tip of the Placencia Peninsula in Southern Belize.  The Peninsula is 16 miles of the most beautiful beaches in Belize.  Most of the Peninsula is still undeveloped making Placencia a nature lover´s paradise.

Hopkins Beach

Hopkins is a small Garifuna village located about eight miles from Dangriga on the Southern Highway. This coastal village has one of Belize´s few mainland sandy beaches. Fishing is one of the major economic activities of Hopkins, with tourism showing incredible growth potential.
